I have been informed that Chapman University’s law school’s faculty data were erroneously reported to the ABA this year. It’s 509 Information Report has been corrected. The good news for Chapman is that its full-time faculty did not substantially change since last year.
I’ve corrected the post regarding the changes in fall full-time faculty, including the calculations at the end of the table.
I should add that not every negative change in faculty is due to layoffs. [Readers interested in the definitions used in “full-time faculty” are encouraged to look through “part 5” of the directions to the questionnaire law schools must fill out.]
Finally, this will be the only correction I will announce regarding that post. Readers are encouraged to move on to my previous post discussing the changes in the distribution of full-time applications.
